Jennie was first introduced to Pilates many years ago for rehabilitation from a dance injury. She quickly developed a passion for the method and decided to make it a career as it was the perfect combination of her love of fitness, improving health, and working with others. She completed her Pilates training in the spring of 2008 from Turning Point Studios in Walnut Creek, CA and was certified through Balance Body University in the spring of 2009. As a compliment to her practice, Jennie also attended graduate school for Holistic Health and Nutrition Education with a focus on sports performance from John F. Kennedy University in northern California. Her background includes years of dance and athletic training. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine. An avid runner, she also enjoys coaching people in distance running from a 10K to a marathon. She strongly believes in the healing power of movement and its abilities to nurture the mind, body, and spirit.
